Private lessons
One to one lessons from £17.50
These are individual lessons, for solo dancers or couples, which are tailored to suit your needs. They cost £17.50 per half hour.
Lessons are available for up to 4 people, please contact Orchard Dance for more information.
Where are they?
They are held at all 3 of our locations - Maldon, Chelmsford and Hatfield Broad Oak.
When are they?
They take place at a time convenient to you.
Why do I need them?
Whether you come to a class and would like some additional help; you would like to improve your style and technique, or if the idea of a big group class is a bit daunting, private lessons are the perfect way to learn.
Can I have lessons AND come to a class?
Absolutely! In fact, for many people this is the preferred way. You get the advantages of specific tuition in lessons, and the fun and social aspect of a group class as well.
What will I learn?
Orchard Dance offers lessons in any and all of the 10 ’traditional’ Ballroom and Latin American dances: Waltz, Ballroom Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Paso Doble, Rumba, Jive.
We do not teach Salsa, Argentine Tango, Charleston, Ceroc or any street/hip hop styles, and we are unable to cater to wedding dances.
What do I wear?
Please wear anything you feel comfortable in, with smooth soled shoes: nothing too heavy or too high. If you need further advice, please get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
